The next October, 25th and 26th will start the II Open Source World Conference – Open Knowledge World Meeting that will be held in the Convention Center of Mérida, Extremadura (SPAIN).
La Junta de Extremadura (regional government) will commission of the translation of LAMS, one of the most complete and powerful tools in the design field, management field and online distribution of learning collaborative activities field published under the GPL (General Public License). As the same way it assumes the translation of a users manual into Spanish.

From Monday June, 6th until August, 31st is the deadline to present Papers for everyone who may interest to take part in the II Free Software International Conference - International Meeting of Free Knowledge that will be holded in Mérida (Extremadura, SPAIN) during the days of October, 25th and 26th organized by Junta de Extremadura (Regional Government of Extremadura) and Junta de Andalucía (Regional Government of Andalucía)
The Regional Governments of Extremadura (Junta de Extremadura) and Andalucía (Junta de Andalucía) will organize the II Free Software Internacional Conference in Mérida (Extremadura, Spain) during the days of October, 25th and 26th 2005 and this will continue in Andalucía througout the whole 2006.
The aim of this Conference will try to show Free Software as a reality due to the fact that it has grown to currently become one of the most successful solutions because it's a solid, powerful and safety solution. And it's advisable to bet on it when we are building Information Systems of any organizations.
